1Purpose, scope, and acknowledgment
This Risk Disclosure applies to the FXRebate websites, client area, Affiliate portal, cashback and referral services, educational resources, calculators, ratings, reviews, promotions, communications, and related functionality collectively referred to as the “Services.”
It is intended to explain material risks connected with trading, selecting and using third-party Partners, earning and receiving Rebates, using payout methods, and relying on information made available through the Services.
This document is not exhaustive and does not replace the client agreement, risk disclosure, key information document, product terms, or mandatory warning issued by the relevant broker, exchange, prop firm, payment provider, or other Partner.
By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Risk Disclosure and that all trading, Partner selection, and financial decisions remain your responsibility.
2FXRebate’s role and regulatory status
FXRebate is a trademark and trading brand owned by Financial Trading Art SRL and is operated within the Financial Trading Art group by Financial Trading Art SRL (Romania) and Financial Trading Art LTD (Seychelles).
FXRebate operates as an independent cashback, referral, comparison, marketing, and affiliate platform. Unless expressly stated and lawfully authorised for a specific service, FXRebate is not a broker, dealer, investment firm, exchange, bank, payment institution, electronic-money institution, crypto-asset custodian, portfolio manager, or financial adviser.
FXRebate does not execute or transmit trading orders, determine trading prices, hold trading deposits or margin, manage portfolios, control Partner Accounts, or guarantee the conduct, solvency, or performance of a Partner.
All trading and investment services are provided directly by independent third-party Partners under their own agreements, legal entities, licences, rules, and risk disclosures.
3No investment, legal, or tax advice
Information available through FXRebate—including broker profiles, comparisons, safety bands, ratings, rebate tables, calculators, educational content, market commentary, economic tools, newsletters, support communications, and social-media posts—is general information only.
Nothing provided by FXRebate constitutes investment advice, a personal recommendation, portfolio management, legal advice, tax advice, accounting advice, or a guarantee that a product, Partner, strategy, or payment method is suitable for you.
Content is not an offer, solicitation, or invitation by FXRebate to buy, sell, subscribe for, or hold a financial instrument or crypto-asset. Any transaction is entered into directly with the relevant Partner.
You should obtain independent professional advice where appropriate and assess your objectives, experience, knowledge, financial position, and ability to bear loss before trading or using a Partner service.
4General trading and suitability risk
Financial markets can move rapidly and unpredictably. You may lose part or all of the money committed to a trade or account, and losses can occur even when you use stop-loss orders, hedging, automated tools, or strategies that performed well in the past.
Trading may be unsuitable if you do not understand the product, cannot monitor positions, cannot meet margin obligations, or cannot afford to lose the capital at risk without affecting essential living expenses or financial commitments.
Do not trade with borrowed money, emergency savings, funds required for daily living, or money that you cannot afford to lose.
Market conditions may prevent execution at the requested price or may make it impossible to open, close, amend, or hedge a position. Gaps, low liquidity, volatility, suspensions, and exceptional events can increase losses.
5Leverage, margin, and liquidation risk
Leverage allows a relatively small amount of capital to control a larger market exposure. It amplifies both gains and losses and can cause rapid depletion of account equity.
A Partner may issue margin calls, close positions automatically, change margin requirements, reduce leverage, or liquidate positions without prior notice when account equity falls below required levels.
Depending on the product, Partner entity, jurisdiction, and client classification, losses may be limited to the account balance or may, where legally permitted, exceed the amount initially deposited.
Retail protections such as leverage limits, margin close-out rules, or negative-balance protection may apply only to certain legal entities and retail classifications. Electing or being classified as a professional client may reduce or remove protections.
6Product-specific risks
6.1Forex and rolling spot foreign exchange
Foreign-exchange prices are affected by interest rates, central-bank decisions, political events, economic data, liquidity, and global market sentiment. Off-exchange forex may involve the Partner acting as principal or counterparty rather than execution on a central exchange.
Currency conversion, rollover, swap, financing, spread, commission, and execution costs can materially affect results, particularly for high-frequency or long-held positions.
6.2CFDs and other leveraged derivatives
Contracts for difference and similar derivatives are complex products that may cause rapid losses because of leverage. You generally do not own the underlying asset and may be exposed to pricing, financing, counterparty, and close-out risks.
Where a Partner offers CFDs to retail clients in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the relevant Partner entity may be required to display a mandatory risk warning, including its current provider-specific percentage of losing retail accounts. FXRebate does not calculate or replace that warning; read it before opening or using the account.
6.3Futures and options
Futures and options may involve leverage, expiry, settlement, assignment, time decay, volatility changes, and liquidity risk. An option may expire worthless, while certain written options can create substantial or theoretically unlimited exposure.
Physical delivery, cash settlement, contract roll, exchange rules, and position limits may apply and can generate additional obligations or costs.
6.4Shares, ETFs, indices, commodities, and precious metals
These products are exposed to issuer, sector, market, concentration, commodity-supply, geopolitical, currency, tracking-error, and liquidity risks. An index or ETF may not perfectly reflect the value or performance expected by the User.
6.5Crypto-assets, stablecoins, and crypto derivatives
Crypto-assets can be highly volatile and may be affected by technology failures, protocol changes, cyberattacks, market manipulation, liquidity shortages, exchange failures, custody risks, regulatory action, and loss of confidence.
Stablecoins may lose their reference value, become illiquid, face issuer or reserve risk, or become unavailable because of legal or platform restrictions. Crypto derivatives add leverage, liquidation, funding-rate, and counterparty risks.
Regulatory protections, complaints mechanisms, and compensation schemes may be limited or unavailable for crypto-related services.
6.6Prop firms, evaluations, and funded-account programs
Challenge, evaluation, reset, subscription, and funded-account fees may be non-refundable. Accounts may be simulated, and successful completion does not guarantee a funded account, profit split, or payout.
Rules concerning drawdown, prohibited strategies, consistency, news trading, inactivity, payout eligibility, and account termination can change or be interpreted by the prop firm. FXRebate does not control those decisions.
6.7Copy trading, social trading, signals, EAs, and automated systems
Following another trader, signal, algorithm, Expert Advisor, robot, PAMM/MAMM arrangement, or automated strategy does not remove risk. Differences in price, latency, account size, leverage, settings, execution, and slippage can produce results materially different from those advertised or observed.
Software can fail, overfit historical data, execute unintended orders, or behave differently in live markets. Users remain responsible for monitoring their systems, permissions, risk limits, and Partner rules.
7Partner, counterparty, and custody risks
Partner services are independent from FXRebate. FXRebate does not control Partner solvency, governance, custody arrangements, client-money handling, execution quality, spreads, commissions, swaps, slippage, requotes, outages, withdrawal processing, or complaint outcomes.
A Partner may reject an application, restrict a product, change trading conditions, suspend or close an account, reverse or cancel commission, request additional documents, or delay or refuse a withdrawal under its own terms and legal obligations.
Client money, crypto-assets, and investments are held or administered by the relevant Partner or payment provider—not by FXRebate—unless a separate regulated service is expressly disclosed.
Insolvency or failure of a Partner, bank, custodian, exchange, liquidity provider, payment provider, or other intermediary may cause loss, delay, or restricted access to funds.
8Regulation, legal entities, and client protections
A broker brand may operate through several legal entities with different regulators, permissions, protections, leverage limits, and country restrictions. A licence held by one entity does not automatically apply to another entity using the same brand.
Regulatory status, licence scope, approved domains, and permissions can change. Users should verify the exact legal entity and licence directly in the relevant regulator’s official register before opening or funding an account.
Descriptions, safety bands, regulator classifications, or ratings on FXRebate are comparative information only. They are not a regulator’s rating, guarantee of solvency, or assurance that a Partner will perform its obligations.
Investor-compensation schemes, ombudsman access, negative-balance protection, client-money segregation, and other safeguards depend on the Partner entity, product, jurisdiction, and client classification and may not apply.
9Rebate and cashback risks
Rebates are conditional and are not guaranteed. Eligibility may depend on correct referral attribution, the correct Partner entity and account type, qualifying instruments, trade duration, account status, Partner rules, reporting, and Partner Compensation confirmed or received by FXRebate.
Adding a Partner Account to the FXRebate client area does not by itself establish eligibility. Existing accounts may require transfer or reassignment, which the Partner may refuse or delay.
Estimated or Pending Rebates are not final amounts. Rebates may be delayed, adjusted, reduced, reversed, cancelled, or denied because of errors, ineligible activity, Partner corrections, chargebacks, fraud reviews, changes in the Partner program, or legal requirements.
Certain strategies, account types, promotions, instruments, trade durations, or activities—such as artificial volume, collusion, bonus abuse, prohibited arbitrage, or other Partner-defined abusive conduct—may be excluded from commission and Rebates.
Do not increase trading frequency, position size, leverage, deposits, or risk exposure solely to generate Rebates, Affiliate Commission, a bonus, or a higher reward tier.
10Commercial relationships and conflicts
FXRebate may receive Partner Compensation when a User registers, trades, purchases, completes a challenge, or performs other qualifying activity through a referral relationship.
FXRebate may retain part of that compensation and share another part with the User or Affiliate. Featured placements, private deals, campaigns, or enhanced rates may reflect commercial arrangements.
These arrangements can create a commercial interest in User activity. FXRebate seeks to disclose material relationships, but Users should independently assess each Partner and should not interpret a listing, ranking, or link as an endorsement or personal recommendation.
Affiliate or influencer content may generate compensation for the publisher. Commercial disclosures should be read together with the content and the full risk information.
11Information, market data, ratings, and reviews
Market prices, spreads, economic calendars, interest rates, volatility, correlations, news, charts, calculators, rebate estimates, and other data may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or supplied by third parties.
FXRebate does not warrant that any content is complete, current, error-free, or suitable as the sole basis for a trading, investment, tax, legal, or Partner-selection decision.
Broker comparisons, safety bands, ratings, “highlights,” and editorial assessments may involve methodology, judgment, assumptions, or data that later changes. They do not guarantee safety, regulatory compliance, execution quality, or future performance.
User reviews and testimonials express the views of their authors. FXRebate may moderate or request evidence, but cannot guarantee that every statement is accurate, representative, or current.
12Performance examples and hypothetical results
Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance. A profitable trader, signal, system, or strategy can later incur substantial losses.
Backtests, simulations, model portfolios, hypothetical examples, screenshots, estimated Rebates, and projected savings involve assumptions and may not reflect live execution, spreads, commissions, slippage, liquidity, market impact, outages, taxes, or behavioural factors.
No representation is made that any account will achieve profits, losses, Rebates, or performance similar to an example shown on the Platform or in third-party content.
13Technical, cybersecurity, and operational risks
Online services can be affected by internet failures, server downtime, software bugs, delayed data, hardware failures, maintenance, cyberattacks, unauthorised access, malware, third-party outages, and communication failures.
FXRebate does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, immediate Partner data, real-time Rebate calculation, or continuous access to the client area or Affiliate portal.
Users are responsible for securing their devices, email, passwords, authentication methods, Partner Accounts, bank accounts, and crypto wallets, and for reporting suspected compromise promptly.
FXRebate will never ask for a crypto private key, seed phrase, or unrestricted authority to trade or withdraw from a Partner Account.
14Payments, the FXRebate Balance, and crypto payouts
The FXRebate Balance is an internal accounting record. It is not a bank deposit, payment account, electronic-money account, interest-bearing account, investment account, or general-purpose crypto wallet, and it is not protected by a deposit-guarantee scheme.
Payouts may depend on verification, minimum thresholds, Partner confirmation, receipt of Partner Compensation, payment-method availability, sanctions and fraud checks, correct payment instructions, and third-party provider acceptance.
Bank, e-wallet, intermediary, currency-conversion, blockchain, or payment-provider fees and delays may apply. FXRebate does not control third-party processing times or service availability.
Crypto and stablecoin transfers can be irreversible. An incorrect wallet address, network, memo, tag, unsupported asset, compromised wallet, protocol failure, congestion, or de-pegging event may cause permanent loss or delay.
Automatic payout instructions remain subject to validation and may be suspended for security, compliance, technical, Partner-reconciliation, or payment-provider reasons.
15Promotions, bonuses, contests, and rewards
Promotions may be operated independently by FXRebate, by a Partner, or jointly. The specific Promotion terms identify the organiser, eligibility criteria, reward provider, reward pool, claim method, and applicable exclusions.
Participation does not guarantee a reward. Promotions may end when the stated period expires, a reward pool is exhausted, a Partner withdraws, continued operation becomes unlawful, or fraud, technical, or security concerns arise.
Bonus and contest incentives can influence behaviour. Users should not deposit, trade, refer, or assume additional financial risk solely to qualify for a reward.
Rewards may be delayed, corrected, cancelled, or recovered where participation is ineligible, manipulated, duplicated, fraudulent, or affected by a material error or Partner reversal.
16Jurisdictional, sanctions, and regulatory-change risks
Partner services, instruments, Rebates, payment methods, promotions, and Affiliate activities are not available in every country and may differ according to residence, citizenship, legal entity, product, client classification, and applicable law.
A Partner may accept clients directly from a country while prohibiting FXRebate from referring clients from that country. Users and Affiliates must not use false information, VPNs, proxies, or other methods to bypass geographic or compliance restrictions.
Laws, sanctions, regulator positions, product-intervention measures, and Partner policies can change without advance notice and may require FXRebate or a Partner to restrict, suspend, alter, or terminate a service or payment method.
Users are responsible for confirming that their use of the Services and any Partner product is lawful in their jurisdiction.
17Tax and reporting risk
Rebates, Affiliate Commissions, bonuses, prizes, and other benefits may be taxable or reportable. Treatment varies by country, legal status, and circumstances.
Users are responsible for obtaining tax advice, maintaining records, issuing invoices where required, and complying with tax, accounting, reporting, and withholding obligations.
FXRebate may request tax-residency information, generate payment or self-billing documents where lawful, apply required withholding, or report information to competent authorities.
18Social media, external links, and third-party content
FXRebate content on TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Reddit, or other platforms may be shortened, reformatted, outdated, or separated from its original context. Always read the full website disclosure and Partner documents before acting.
Third-party platforms apply their own terms, privacy rules, moderation practices, algorithms, and technical limits. FXRebate is not responsible for platform outages, impersonation accounts, unauthorised reposts, comments, or content created by third parties.
External links may lead to independent websites. A link does not mean that FXRebate controls, approves, or guarantees the external service, content, security, or privacy practices.
Users should verify that communications come from official FXRebate domains and channels and should never disclose passwords, one-time codes, private keys, or seed phrases in response to a message.
19User responsibilities and independent decision-making
You are responsible for independently selecting Partners and products, reviewing contractual and regulatory documents, maintaining sufficient margin, monitoring positions and automated systems, and verifying payout information.
Before trading, consider your objectives, experience, financial resources, time horizon, liquidity needs, and ability to withstand loss. Use risk-management tools only after understanding their limitations.
Users must be at least 18 years old and must not use the Services where prohibited or restricted.
Seek independent financial, legal, tax, or technical advice if you do not understand a product, Partner arrangement, Rebate condition, or payout method.
20Liability, related documents, and contact information
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FXRebate does not accept responsibility for trading losses, market movements, Partner actions or insolvency, delayed or rejected withdrawals, loss of expected Rebates, third-party data errors, payment-provider failures, or indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on the Services.
Nothing in this Risk Disclosure excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
The limitations, governing law, complaint procedure, and other contractual provisions in the applicable Terms of Service or Affiliate Terms remain in force. If this Risk Disclosure conflicts with a mandatory Partner warning or applicable law, the mandatory requirement prevails.
Questions concerning this Risk Disclosure may be sent to legal [at] fxrebate.eu or support [at] fxrebate.eu.
